Vehicle Detail

You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer Passat than this one. In excellent condition, it has a clean Carfax, comes with complete Volkswagen service history, and for another month is STILL under an extended 'Certified Pre-Owned' Volkswagen warranty for added peace of mind.It is a LOADED VR6 4MOTION 'Sport' model with the powerful (and awesome sounding) VR6 6-cylinder engine and All-Wheel-Drive. It comes with upgraded sports seats and aluminum trim inside, and unique alloy wheels outside. It's rare to find a car with all of these options - it took me months to find one in this condition. This example also has premium features like integrated navigation, a killer 'Dynaudio' sound system (has to be heard to be believed), sunroof, power seats, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, Bluetooth to connect your phone, rear window blinds, roof racks, 'privacy glass' wintow tint, and an electrically operated tailgate. This next part will sound crazy. I am a TOTAL car nerd. A few months ago I had 3 cars, and today and I have 5. The Passat was one of the two new ones. I had convinced myself I needed a 4 seater, as my 3 cars all had only 2 seats. I had always wanted a VR6 Wagon, so I looked for months, found this one in Texas, bought it, and brought it to California. The day after I got it, I heard about a 28yo, pristine Alfa Romeo -- one that I have wanted for as long as I can remember -- come up for sale. I ended up buying it. But that means the Passat, sadly, has to go. I can garage 4 cars, but not 5.I'm not selling this to 'flip' and make money. I will lose money. I bought it for $10,500 (I'll show you the bill of sale). Shipping was $700. It was detailed for $250. I had a Volkswagen specialist pour all over it (to find something wrong that I could use the warranty for) and he gave it clean bill of health. That was $225. The transmission shifter chrome surround was worn, so I replaced it. That was $200. The rear bumper had been scratched, (not hit, just a little scratched up from loading stuff), so I had it professionally repainted. That was $550. And I smogged it in California, and registered it here. That was $1000. That's all in the last 2 weeks! I've listed it for $10,900. I will sell it for what I paid ($10,500), even though I have spent around $3000 in all the things listed above. No low-ball offers please. It'll sell for $10,500. You won't find a nicer example for the price.
