Vehicle Detail
I have a very nice and 80% complete 1954 Ford F100 pick-up truck for sale. I am in the military and will be moving and just can’t take my baby with me. I had a feeling the move was coming so I was selective on what work I decided to have done. I still had fun seeing the progress of the truck come along; however, I did not want to make it too custom in the event I had to sell it…plus it would keep the selling price lower. I have taken the truck as far as I can without taking too many options away from the next person or making it double as expensive to take this awesome truck to the finish line. All the hard work and close to $20,000 has been spent to this point. A lot of fine details have been considered…that’s what makes this truck so special and sets it apart from for others…it’s not a ratrod. Basically, all the initial body work has been completed and it just needs a final block-sanding and final paint. It cost over $6,000 to replace and update all the parts with 100% metal. Body: New Steel Bed Corners (Eliminated Gas Neck) Eliminated/Welded Hood Cowling Vent Closed Eliminated/Welded Closed all Emblem and Trim Holes New Steel Bed (Stainless Steel Hardware) Vertical Post Steel Teardrop Bed Rolls Welded in Welded Bedrail Ends Closed Steel Roll Pan Smooth Tailgate with hidden Hardware and Latches New Steel Rear Fenders (3” Wider) New Running Boards with Stainless Steel Hardware New Steel Front Fenders New Front Wheelwells New Fiberglass Smooth front Bumper (Not Installed yet, Frame not cut yet) Interior: New Steel Tilt 30” Steering Column (Not connected so new owner can set height) All Stainless Steel Steering Hardware, Swivel Joints, Collars, etc. Dashboard Vents and Holes Welded Close Glovebox Still Functional All Gauges in Dash All New Door latch Hardware Interior Painted Bench Seat has been Re-Covered and Steel Frame was built to raise the seat 3” Under-carriage: Frame was taken off and true’d and boxed to include welded in cross supports in the rear Frame was glassbeaded and professionally painted Powertrain: Rebuilt 5.0 Ford Racing Motor Mild Cam Edlebrock 750 Carburetor Polished Intake Chrome Headers Rebuilt Automatic w/Overdrive Trans with Shift Kit Suspension: New Mustang II Front End with Disc Brakes and Rack and Pinion Steering Ford Explorer Rear End w/Disc Brakes (373 Gears with stock limited slip) New Rear Leaf Springs I also have a bit of additional parts that I chose not to install pending the sale: 11” Power Brake Booster Door Seal Kit Aluminum Battery Mount Fiberglass Front Smooth Bumper New Hood Hinges I also have stock parts that come with the truck: Vent Windows for the Doors Manual Window Tracks and Hardware Wiper Motor and Hardware Wire Harness I am sure that I have left a lot out…but I have a lot of receipts for the Truck. I also have a clean title for Truck and know that the next owner will not be disappointed. Please let me know if you have any questions. Eddie
