It was also the first full model year of Corvettes that were produced in the newly constructed Boling Green Plant in Kentucky. It's true, over 26,000 1982 corvettes were produced and all were fitted with the same drive trains and transmissions and offered in a wide range of interior and exterior color options. The significant difference on this particular 1982 Corvette is that Chevrolet only produced 723 in this exterior color of Silver Green Metallic and only 257 produced with the Silver Green interior. The remaining 466 Silver Green Metallic Corvettes were produced with Charcoal interior option making this 1 of only 257 ever built.
