Original sunroof 1971 bug. Very early super beetle with the original flat dash. Project car that ran two years ago but engine was removed due to low compression. Engine is complete and available to the new owner for $500. Has good 4 speed transmission, car drove great before engine was removed. Work done in 2014: new brake hoses and wheel cylinders, new sun visors and glove box. Body is in good condition, no signs of accident damage. Hood, engine lid and doors all close well and have great gaps. California car with only a little rust in the battery area, Battery is still supported by the original pan. The rest of the chassis and body is very solid. Sunroof is original, needs new cables which are available from several sources. Tires hold air and car easily rolls and steers. Ready for engine.
