For Sale 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 12V Cummins Turbo Diesel $10,895 or BO 303-229-5637 I am selling my Rust Free 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins Turbo Diesel SLT Laramie. It is an extend cab, auto, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, 4.10 gears, anti-spin rear. If you are looking at this add, you know how good the 12V Cummins Engine is. This is a Stock, Unmodified, Rust Free two owner 225k mile truck. If you know this engine, you know it is just broken in and has many miles of service left. It has lived its entire life in the desert area around Denver. I purchased this 2.5 years ago as a “keeper”. Knowing the engine will live forever, I did all the mechanical things around the truck that need attention on an older Dodge. I got a new job with a company truck had I no longer need the truck. My loss is your gain. I have over $16 invested in this truck. You will not find a better 12V Cummins in better mechanical condition than this one. It is also a great candidate for restoration as it is a 12 Valve and Rust Free. For restoration I would plan a new grill (worn from age and a bug deflector), paint job, a new cab floor carpet (not bad, will shampoo up, but for a restoration I would replace), and re-upholster the front seats (they are covered bu worn underneath). Stereo: Is a newer Alpine. CD with Aux input and iPod input. The Aux plug (to plug in your phone) and the iPod plug are included. All four speakers are Pioneer and also new. The phone holder in the picture is not included (I will remove, it fits my phone). Trailer Hitch: I have a new seven pin plug that I haven't had a chance to install. I will try, but if I don't get a chance I will include it with the sale. Once that is in you can plug in your trailer brake controller and go (there is a stock Dodge plug under the dash for that) .
