1938 Ford Pickup Truck V8 Flathead. Not original engine. Looks to be early 1950s. Brakes have been converted to hydraulic. It has new front brakes and master cylinder. New fuel tank. Does run and drive. Needs the carb rebuilt or replaced. Tires have dry rot and should be replaced but do air up and stay up a couple of weeks. Headlights and taillights, interior light, and dash lights work. Turn signals work. Still on 6V battery. It needs a passenger side window because it is foggy and it needs a rear window because it is broken. We do have it for a pattern. It has a good solid body, it has 35 to 40 year old paint with chips and dings and some spots that have been touched up over the years...these spots should show up in the pictures. If you want a V8 Flathead truck that is complete and running, this is it. It does need restoration because I do not know when the motor was rebuilt last, or a lot about the history. If I do not sell it, I am pulling the Flathead and putting more modern parts in. Just seeing if someone wants a Flathead truck first. More questions? CALL Daryl at 615-464-8460.
