Vehicle Detail

1970 Honda CT70 With CA. Title Okay, all you collectors will want to bid on this after reading it all through. If you have missed out on one of my bikes for auction in the past, now is your chance. So up for sale is another one of my beautifully restored Sapphire Blue 1970 Honda CT70 Trail 70. This model is a three-speed semi-automatic clutch with 3.7 miles on speedometer since the restoration. This bike purrs like a kitten, shifts great, and drives excellent. This bike has been painstakingly picked apart nut by nut bolt by bolt and completely redone to factory specifications. Every part on this bike has been replaced, re-chromed, polished, or re-plated. This bike is just as it rolled off the showroom floor. It is that nice and that detailed. “This bike has been pain staking restored and has so many new parts you will think you are looking in a time capsule”. (scottt455) Not many people go to the extent that I do on all my restorations, with such detail to the original specifications. I see other restorations with new bolts. But clearly they were bought from a hardware store. And if you didn’t know that, they would look ok for you. I see parts brake hardware not re-zinced. I see wrong size washer or no washers at all. I am a purest and I like perfect. I like to see it done just the way Honda sent them to the USA for that year. I have done my researched on un-molested original CT70s, examined original brochures, and read old Honda micro-fiches in order to gain the knowledge and know how to do this caliber of restoration. With that said, I have use the correct number “8” bolt that are the correct length with the correct size washers in the correct places. I have put a lot of time and money in this bike as you can see. No expense was spared and painstaking attention to detail. This is practically a brand new bike from 1970. You would be hard pressed to build a bike as nice as this for this price. This bike looks fabulous but unless you have restored one yourself you can’t really appreciate the amount of labor and especially the amount of money it takes to restore one of these bikes to this caliber. Bid with confidence you will not be disappointed.
