1985 Chevy G20 Van Conversion done by Imperial SUPER LOW RESERVE - WE Market our vehicles I think BETTER then anyone else's on ebay. The most HONEST PICS available and description. Ive seen other sellers ads and pics, and I find it hard to believe people even bid on some cars . UP FOR AUCTION: this is what we know about the car below. MILEAGE on the odometer shows aprox 72k and documented original. The vans not been used much in the last few yrs especially. Starts up and runs fine, drives well too. Does need a few tires. Also BRAKE lite on the dash is on, not sure why.Brakes feel okay, but they may need to be bled, so we are going to do that this week and see if the light goes out. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: the Van has been in AZ for most of its life. I started out in Indiana and came to Az soon after and stayed in the SW most of its life. Paint is original and showing its age... cosmetic. Interior has some fading to the carpet, a small tear in the headliner near the back, pw switches not mounted in the front doors, door strap broke, most all is just cosmetic normal wear and tear stuff. Dr pw works. DRIVETRAIN: 72k miles on the original drivetrain, 350 motor w/ auto OD trans. Runs and drives fine, pretty clean too. Looks like maybe the cat was replaced in the last few yrs. AC blows up front, but I can only get it to blow thru the defroster. Havent tried to use the rear AC. Needs a few tires. INTERIOR: the interior isnt bad, its nice enough to hop in and drive anywhere, but Im sure youd want to fix some of the cosmetic stuff soon too. The Imperial conversion includes: 4 captains chairs, rear seat that looks like it could be a bed, full length overhead console with mood lighting Large side windows added to the dr side, lots of real wood accents and trim from front to rear, and some added electronics, stereo etc. EXTERIOR: Paint looks to be the original Dk purple with old pinstripping. Factory running boards and stainless trim...NO signs of any accidents just mostly fading from the Az sun. Roof rack and ladder out back. Factory 15" GM Alloy rims, front grill has a crack in it. Just a cool older GM conversion van ready to take on the road or drive around town. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension the best I can tell Im sure most of the bushings are dry out, but being a minimal rust car it would come apart easier then a rust bucket and making the repairs and restoration in its future again, more attractive. Goes down the road fine. Just drove it across town the other day on a 10 mile trip with no issues. Feels normal . Standard 1/2 ton vehicle. Bled the brakes and the light on the dash is OFF now and they feel 100 % better. While there they we found the dr side lower ball joint was toast, so I had them install a new one. Rear tires look okay, but the Van NEEDS 2 front tires right away for any sort of driving even around town. Because most owners have their own tire preference Im not going to put new ones on. But you can expect to pay between $150-200 for a good pair of new tires for the front. We can get tires at wholesale pricing, so if there is a winner and they want us to install 2 new tires on the front of the Van, let me know after you win on what brand etc you want and Ill price it out for you. If you want them installed and you pay for them of course we can help you do it.
