Selling our 2001 Isuzu Vehicross Proton. 2nd owner since I think 2005? Purchased from a local dealer with approximately 95,000 miles. Now has 170,000 plus miles. Original paint (as far as I can tell and Im an ex auto body/paint man and hobbyist), so this means NO DAMAGE OR WRECKS as far as I can verify. Original paint is great but has some fading on top areas, but not too bad. Still looks good. Cladding is in great shape as well. Leather seats are good with normal wear. Dash is great, no cracks, since we kept it covered always. No rust. Original KYB shocks in great shape (high dollar bastards btw)., Tires are about 8 months old and in great shape. Original AM/FM Cassette w. 5 disc changer (Not sure if the 5 disc works ot not, I did put a new one in it a couple of years ago, but they are problematic)., Transmission and drivetrain work great. Front driveaxles work but one needs a new boot. Torque on Demand system works awesome. All lights, signals ect work as they should, except one fog light is out (passenger side). Passenger mirror has been replaced and the wires need to be hooked up which requires removing the panel from the door (SEE PHOTO), which I haven't repaired because the passenger window is NOT working and I was going to fix this all in one shot, but never got to it.. sooooo.. needs fixed. All original 18 inch wheels and an ORIGINAL 18 INCH SPARE to match, cuz its not good to run the donut on these things. The donut, Jack and Jack accessories are all in place as well, as well as the owners manual and locking lug remover (in the glove box). I could only find 2 dings, one shows in the picture on the back and the other was so small it wouldn't photograph, so I left it out... pretty amazing. BAD PART is that the ENGINE IS NOT RUNNING due to the oil consumption problem that plagues these 3.5 engines. The replacement reman engines overcome this design flaw with a different piston design, so Im told. I HATE to sell but I just cant afford to fix it. I paid 500 buck for my mechanic to go through the engine twice and finally the ENGINE SIEZED when he got it running the second time, he says at the right side cam...The 500 was for the parts he paid, not for any labor ie., water pump, belts, gaskets etc ect... so there are new parts that go with it. He went broke on this, but he says if he doesn't fix theres no pay for labor..whew! Also, the HOOD INSERT developed a crack and is not evident in the photo. this can be repaired easily cuz its fiberglass. This Vehicross is in my shop 30 miles West of Tulsa, Oklahoma and will be there till sold, so its out of the weather and safe. 100 dollar DEPOSIT at auction end. If you don't want it when you come get/see it you lose the 100 for my time and Ebay listing fees. I can help with loading. Auction starts at 1500 USA dollars. BTW.. there are very limited numbers of these Vehicross's produced, like 4153 total US units, I think, and 479 Yellow (Protons) for 2001, I think...you do the research. Quite RARE!
