Wonderful, Original 1949 Model 3800 1 Ton Chevrolet Pickup Truck...thats dependable and fun to drive! Very Solid. This truck has been converted to12 volt to make it very reliable and easy to start. Original 216 6 cylinder motor. Starts easy-runs great.Original 4spd Saginaw Transmission. Shifts excellent.Look at the pictures carefully. Solid floors, solid body, great running boards. Hood and doors open and shut well.All metal-All original. Just an honest old truck. New Battery-New Fuel Pump-New Speedometer (shows 98 miles)the original speedometer was very cloudy and the cable was broken, actual miles unknown. New Choke Cable-New Speedometer Cable-Newly Upholstered Seat- New Floor Mat-New Door Trim,Rebuilt Carb-New Rear Tail lights and much much more. The factory bed wood is there but needs some repair and is covered up with plywood. The only small rust area is in the lower front bed pan inside the bed. The paint is as it looks in the pictures...really kind of a neat patina that is pretty popular today. Summary: All the mechanical areas have been addressed to make this a fun old truck to drive to the hardware store or cruise downtown for coffee.
