You are looking at a very original unmolested 1966 Nova Super Sport. This car was bought new by the original owner in August of 1966 at Johnson Chevrolet, in Reno, Nevada. This car was babied for the next 32 years by the same owner and was eventually sold in 1998. The original owner kept a detailed log of every oil change, lube, and tire rotation for the entire time he owned the car. It also documents the low original miles of this incredible car. When it was sold to the second owner it had traveled only 38,000 miles since new. It has only had an additional 3,000 miles in the last 18 years. All factory options are still intact and working. It has factory Air Conditioning, power steering, and bumper guards. The original jack and tools are in the trunk along with the original spare wheel. The dash does have a few cracks from the Nevada sun but the rest of the interior is very nice. It has an old school temp gauge that looks like it has been there since the 60s. This car has always been well cared for and for the majority of its life, in dry climates. The normal pitting in the console and the super expensive trunk moulding is basically non existent. I have owned rare and survivor Novas for years and this is one of the best by far. This car retains its original engine, transmission and rear end. It runs and drives unbelievable. Just like a nice original car should. It is absolutely dry and rust free underneath and still wears its original paint. It does have some lacquer checking and is thin in some spots. It also has its share of dings and scratches and some brush touch ups from years past. I could go on forever but if you appreciate good original documented cars, then the pictures can tell the story.
