This Westi is in very good shape; pretty much original and no rust. I have owned it myself for the last 22 years, bringing it back from the West Coast and have done what ever has been needed, when needed. It has been stored inside. Family has grown and time to let someone else enjoy. No issues, used primarily as "summer fun" and never an issue doing the 2000 mile return trips to the coast(s). Its a 39 year old vehicle so it is not perfect but it is very close. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. On 17-Feb-16 at 08:35:21 EST, seller added the following information: I have been asked so note I have had work done over the last few years including cylinder heads (new) with valve and piston ring sets, rebuilding manifolds and u-pipes, new airflow meter, fuel pump, full brakes, and full exhaust. It has a recent pop-top hemp canvas with new seal, new windshield with rubber, and new tires. An exterior refinishing was done in 2008 maintaining the Marino Yellow color. I don't think it needs anything mechanically but there are a few aesthetic items still on the honey-do list including: 1. repair original green-gold plaid driver seat (wear rub, tear) 2. replace original carpeting (faded) 3. put in a new kick panels in footwells (or refinish existing) 4. replace rubber border on two of the wood cabinet doors (loose, not holding shape) 5. put the dang antenna back on! 6. consider replacing the original curtains (faded, too plain for the kids). 7. adjust rear bumper to level (not sitting square) as previous owner continually stood on it to load kayaks.
