Vehicle Detail
This car has been well taken care of for the last 3 years it has been in my possession. All service records and oil changes have been completed within BMW's recommended mileage. No check engine lights and passes smog (smog is good until September 2016 in case you need to take it in). It has been my daily driver for the last 3 years with no major issues. New within the last 20,000 miles: WipersHeadlights and foglightsAlternatorWater PumpSerp. beltAC BeltAC Compressor and rechargedTires (less than 2,000 on all 4 tires)Front control arm bushingsRear control armsRear control arm bushingsRear brakes Cons: Remote won't lock the doors, it will only unlock them. You can still use the key to lock the car and activate the alarm system. There is a dent in the driver door where I ran into it with a wheelbarrow. I fixed the paint but did not get the dent removed. The driver seat is ripped in the butt part. All the other seats are in EXCELLENT shape for a car this old. The driver's side elbow pad attached to the door is also scuffed/peeling. Normal wear and tear items on a 16 year old car. Will likely need new front brake pads soon. The clutch still has at least another year left on it. Car shifts great now but gets a tiny grind into second if shifting too quickly when cold. No grind when car is warmed up. Everything else on the car works as normally expected. It was involved in a minor rear end collision on the passenger quarter panel several years ago. It did not salvage the title. No airbags deployed. It was fixed per insurance standards and returned to the roads of California without issue. Please feel free to ask any questions! Happy bidding!
