Great car at a fair price. All numbers match. I believe this 1966 Corvette Convertible (#2929 of 17,762) was assembled on the 79th day of production (on or about Oct. 12, 1965) making it just over 50 years old. The car was purchased on Oct. 22, 1965. I have owned the car for the past 25 years. There is very little restoration done to this car (other than newer replica carpet, new replica top w/date code 105 [= October/1965], new replica wiper arms, and new replica hoses/belts/plug wires/wiper blades). Notes: 1) The original 3-speed (564 produced) manual transmission (Main Case - 3858986/Side Cover - 3858982/Tailhousing - 3873886) and all associated linkage/3 speed "H" plate is off the car/boxed. The car currently has a 4-speed manual transmission installed (more fun to drive). 2) The original Holley 4-Barrel, 3367 (3884505 DA) w/date code 594 [= 1965/September/4th week] is completely rebuilt (looks brand new) and is off the car/boxed. Car options: U69 AM-FM Radio ($199.00) and P92 WSW Tires 7.75 x 15 Rayon Cord ($31.30) I have the original dealer invoice, buyer purchase agreement (very desirable to have as it shows the original color of the car and convertible top), car manual, protection plan booklet (w/Protect-O-Plate), and the maintenance records for the life of the car.
