Vehicle Detail
We are offering this very restorable 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS for auction. This car will need most of the body panels but has a real nice front K frame assembly with solid inner fenders and firewall. The front and rear frame rails, rocker panels, dash area and roof look solid and will not need to be replaced. Most of the rust seems to have come from moisture getting inside the floors and trunk pan. This car still retains it's original 12 bolt positraction rear end that does not appear to have ever been removed from the car. It is coded FR0201G which translates as 3:73 12 bolt Posi built in early February and matches the build date of the car on the original trim tag which has also never been removed from the firewall. We checked to confirm that the hidden VIN matches the car. Along with the 12 bolt the original 3/8" fuel lines are still intact which I believe indicates this was an original 327 L79 car. The original color was Marina Blue and it is a 4 speed, console, bucket seat car. We have included a pair of nice recoverable bucket seats but do not have the back seat. The car comes with a set of new front and rear door panels and carpets. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. You can email or call us at 716-652-7086. Check out our other auctions. Camaro Specialties has been selling restoration parts for 1965-1981 Camaros, Firebirds, Chevelles, Novas and GTO's as well as project cars for over 30 years. We would also welcome inspection at our shop. We can assist you in transportation and loading too. Thanks for looking! On Feb-15-16 at 10:37:53 PST, seller added the following information: It has been brought to our attention that I made a mistake on the rear axle ID. It is clearly FP not FR as incorrectly listed in the description. .
