I bought this Honda Civic Hybrid brand new in 2006. I paid $21,000 for it. It was my wife's main transportation for 5 years and was was ultra reliable and knocked down 40+ MPG (Even though it said 49 and 51 on the window sticker). Brakes and tires were all it ever needed. Then one day I came out to start it and discovered the expensive hybrid batteries had finally failed. They lasted for 122,000 miles and finally needed to be replaced. This work was done professionally by the Bob Howard Honda dealership in Edmond, Oklahoma. This can be verified via the dealer. A month after getting it back with the new hybrid batteries the transmission starting making a funny noise. I wound up replacing this too with a used tranny with 80,000 miles. The work was done by Johan's Hondura and Acura, a well respected Honda specialist and the car runs great now with no issues. It's a 2006 but it may as well be a 2011 age-wise. It has sat virtually dormant for the past 5 years while I saved the money to fix it. It also has new brakes, 2 new tires, a complete new tune up with valve adjustment, a transmission flush and tune up and a relatively new battery (in addition to the hybrid batteries). I've done everything to put it back into near perfect condition. It runs like a champ and has more power than one would expect. The exterior is a nice Opel Blue. It has an automatic transmission. CD player. Power everything and cruise. It's never been in an accident and has never been smoked in. I have a clean car fax and a clear title. The interior looks like no one has ever sat in the vehicle. I've had expensive, custom seat covers on it from day one (they come with the sale) and it is immaculate inside. There are a couple of scrapes on the rear bumper. It was recently fully detailed as well. Someone will get a very nice family car that should be trouble free for a long time. Beware of buying a Civic Hybrid with original hybrid batteries. It will cost you $$$$. This one has all the work done professionally.
