Up for auction is my 1982 Chevy El Camino. This is a Great looking daily driver that I get thumbs up on almost everytime I drive it or people will come up to me at the gas station or wherever I am to visit with me about my ride. It runs good, drives good,sounds good, and has ice cold A/C. It is not a show truck, it is a reliable daily driver that looks great from 10FT. away but has imperfections in the paint (see Photos) The Good: 1982 IROC Z28 V-8 Automatic Overdrive 700R-4 Transmission Rebuilt 2 Yrs. ago Hardshell Tonneau Cover with new lift struts Spray in Duraliner bed liner All New A/C Compressor, Dryer, Orifice, lines, and condenser from NAPA 2Yrs. ago New polyurethane bushings in frontend 4yrs. ago New power steering gear box and pump 3 yrs.ago New Paint 2 yrs. ago Excellent tires (75% tread left) Powdercoated Headers K & N air cleaner with K & N flow thru top Every light on the car works with under hood lite and retractable under hood work lite SS Fiberglass Cowl induction hood High back bucket seats with console Hurst shifter and AutoMeter oil and temperature gauges built into the console Interior is nice but not perfect The bad; Has some stress cracks in cowl induction hood and on roof Very minor amount of rust behind rear wheel wells and at bottom of tail gate ( see photos) 2 small holes in drivers seat ( see photo) on highway before transmission shifts from drive to overdrive if you are all the way in the throttle you get a little valve train noise or float.
