It runs and drives, it starts easily, idles smoothly, shifts through all the gears and has a very reasonable amount of power.This car was sitting for about 7 years, it needed a new fuel pump to get it running, I have replaced the pump and injector hoses, as well as cleaned out the fuel lines, regulators, and injectors.The paint is in poor condition, it appears to have been repainted rather badly at some point in the past and much of the paint on the aluminum body panels(front fenders, hood, doors) is flaking off. There are quite a few minor problems I have listed above, this car is not a show stopper, but it would be easy to prepare for regular driving, and it would be an excellent candidate for restoration.It is almost completely unmolested, I have not found any rigged up junk or sloppy aftermarket wiring, this car is just about completely original mechanically and has not been abused by highschoolers trying to make a racecar. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it for my daughter as she will be driving soon; however, she does not like old things and wants a Kia because of the hamster commercials. There are not many of these cars around, and I feel it would be a waste for this one to be left to fall back into disrepair. Currently it runs and drives, with a little work this car would make for a great restoration project, or a reliable daily driver.
