This is a real R/T with all of the original sheetmetal and it has the original 440, 4 speed and Dana rear. This is a rare car and real 4 speeds don't come up for sale very often. I drive it about 100 miles a week and this is a car that is extremely fun and fast and can be driven anywhere without worry. This is not a pampered showpiece. The car is originally from Texas and all of the metal is original. It was painted about 5 years ago in the original TT1 green with painted black R/T stripes. The interior is from Legendary. The gauges all work. The engine was rebuilt last year by Ed Miller Racing in Chesapeake, VA. It has 906 heads that had port work done and a vintage TM7 intake, Holley Street Avenger 870 carb, a mild Crane cam, a Mopar chrome box ignition, headers and a recent new exhaust with classic Thrush Super Turbo mufflers. The transmission is an 18 spline 4 speed with a Centerforce clutch and the rear is a Dana with the original 3.54 gears. I rebuilt the brakes 2 years ago and I put in a new gas tank, rebuilt the carb and replaced the fuel filters about 3 years ago. What it needs: The trunk floor has some holes in it and should be replaced. The balljoints have some play in them and are probably ready for replacement. The horn is dead. The dash could use some detailing. The lighter is missing. Its not a perfect car; its a driver and is priced accordingly. Ive had this car since 2001 and I am representing it the best I can. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country right now. I have the original rocker moldings with new clips (I like the way it looks without them and left them off,) air cleaner, carb, intake, exhaust manifolds and 14" Road Wheels and they will all be included with the sale. It has the fender tag and it and the VIN are available upon request. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right the end the auction early. Please do not ask what the reserve is.
