Vehicle Detail
We're offering for sale today a 1965 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Limousine. This is one of 795 made. This is the only Cadillac made with this paint color and the code is Firemist Saddle Metallic, #97. The body is DC 741. The miles are 89,694. This car was purchased new in San Antonio, Texas by a woman who had her own driver full-time. When she ordered the car, not only did she order the custom color, she also ordered the factory luggage rack that's on the roof. She kept the car until late 1970 and sold it to the gentleman I bought it from with 39,000 miles. In the last 46 years, he only put another 50,000 miles on the limo. That's why the car presently has 89,694. He did the best he could not to drive the car in bad weather, but both rear windows did not have a drain plug for the water. That's why you see the rust on both sides of the rear wheel wells. It's not from salt, but instead from water not being able to escape. If you look in the backseat of the car, you can see that the skirts are in very decent condition. This car also has the original hubcaps to go with it, so the car will come with a total of 2 sets of hubcaps. It starts, drives and stops but it will need a front pipe. The privacy window does work. To restore this car to be an everyday driver, but not doing a frame-off restoration, it will need carpeting, headliner and the front leather seat dyed. The body just needs the dent taken out, and the rust fixed and painted. This car is 100 percent original; it's never been bondoed or repainted. This is an original survivor from 1965. It will also need hoses and fan belts updated on the motor and the air conditioning charged if you want to use it, because it will work. The 4 tires on it are old, so it will need a new set. With a good safety check you're ready for the road. According to the gentleman I purchased the car from, the frame is 100% solid from front to back. It also comes with a service manual and many many service pamphlets (which are in the plastic bag and the owners manual). This is a very hard-to-find car that hasn't been beaten up, non-factory parts put in, re-painted, or any interior parts put in in the past. What you see is exactly what you get. This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). We are Euclid Car Co. at 1231 E. 286th St., Euclid, OH 44132.This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something. We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. Ebay also offers a service like this! Please do this BEFORE bidding on the vehicle! If you need a 30-day tag, it’s $18.50. We handle the transfer of the title. We will also have to collect the tax for your county if you live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, and South Carolina. We would like the vehicle picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle, along with a $15 title fee. By Ohio law, we must transfer this title into your name. The reason being is that if we would just send you the title and it was to get lost, there would be a problem. Or if we would send you the title and you didn't transfer it for several years and it got lost, it would be an even bigger problem. We follow the law of our state and will make sure that the title is transferred correctly for all customers. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle. If you have any questions, call Lou at 216-210-8488. Good luck bidding!
