The factory 351 4V Cleveland V8 runs exceptionally strong. 1970 would be the last high compression year, rated conservatively at 300 horsepower. The engine compartment shows well, complete with the correct breather assembly, air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support sheetmetal is in excellent condition. This is a dry climate car its entire life and it shows in the body and undercarriage condition. The interior is excellent. The upholstery was recently restored in beautiful deluxe patterned vinyl with checkered inserts. Features include rim touch horn, center console, Philco AM radio, remote driver's mirror and optional clock. This car also features functional air conditioning with a recently replaced compressor. This '70 Torino GT convertible was sold new in Scottsdale, Arizona and has been a dry climate car ever since. A copy of the deluxe Marti Report is shown above. The original door identification decal is in place, but fading. We have a new Ford authorized decal on its way now. This Torino is proudly displayed here at Street Machine Auto Sales in our little showroom just east of Dallas, Texas. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. Feel free to email or telephone us for an appointment. The paint and body are in great shape, showcasing one repaint of the correct bright yellow finish with laser stripes. The white convertible top is power-operated and complete with the glass rear window, correct and in excellent condition throughout. The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the correct checkered mat. The rubber seal has been replaced. The fuel tank was also replaced. The trunk light works. The undercarriage is in excellent condition, displaying original flooring and frame rails front to back. Its difficult to find a muscle car of this era in this kind of condition, especially a convertible. This car's body and undercarriage is a testament to its dry climate status.
