Thank you for looking at our machine. ATV: This ATV is a very nice 2013 Honda Recon 250 TM 4x2, Manual Shift Utility ATV. It is one of the most dependable ATV's ever made. The heart of this machine is the 250cc class four stroke engine. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance. About the only way to hurt this engine is to drain the oil completely. They are SUPER reliable and practically bulletproof. The engine is backed up by the awesome Manual Shift transmission. This transmission uses a semi-automatic clutch to make shift changes a breeze. You shift gears simply by moving a lever with your foot. Even though you do have to manually switch gears, there is NO clutch lever to operate with your hands. These are the ultimate in ease of use and offer maximum control over what gear your machine is in and stays in. Plus there's no transmission pump to wear out or CVT belts to break. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. If you want an excellent ATV to get around on or play with; and bring you a lifetime of enjoyment, this is definitely the machine for you. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great condition. It doesn't have any type of odometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many miles or hours it has on it. What we can tell you is that we see and work on a LOT of ATVs throughout the year and this one has been taken care of and maintained. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The fenders are in great shape with some scratches here and there, but this is a used machine and that should be expected. The only real blemishes are a very small set of heavier scratches on the right front, right rear, and left rear fenders, plus each floor board has a small area that has been cut off. The scratches are common for a machine that has been ridden. The floor boards look as if something has hit or damaged them at one point and they have been trimmed to smooth them out. We have even provided pictures below so that you can see exactly what the machine and the blemishes look like. Overall this vehicle seems to have been well maintained and looked after. Anyone who buys it will be more than happy they did. It is a blast to ride and will offer you a lifetime of enjoyment. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. A new one just like this would set you back around $4200 plus tax and fees. This one looks great, runs perfect, and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. If it ships, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
