We are offering a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500. This car starts and runs well. It just had new brakes put on, and a master cylinder. It will need the steering box rebuilt in the future, because there is some play in the wheel. But you can get in it, drive it and have a lot of fun with it. The guy we bought it from only drove it once or twice a year when he went to car shows. Otherwise it sat in his garage. The interior is in pretty nice shape, although there is a tear in the driver's seat. We believe the interior to be all-original. The body on the car really looks good, even though on the drivers side there's rust on the top of the fender and some rust on the roof on the passenger's corner that can be seen in the pictures. As you can see, the motor is all original and the trunk is very solid. The 83,000 miles are actual, but the title reads a couple hundred more than the car, because when it was sold at some point in time somebody made a mistake. However, we are still keeping the miles actual. It's a Ford Galaxie 500 Town Car and the motor is not a 352, it's a 292 V8 with 175 horsepower. Have a good day.
