Vehicle Detail
Thats Right.Another fantastic NO RESERVE auction brought to you byAutowerks of Northbrook. The current market for Air Cooled 911's is on absolute fire right now. Add a G50 and the Silver Anniversary package and you have the Holy Grail of the air cooled 911's. I will probably kick myself in the butt in a few years for selling her but life and priorities have changed. For 103,000 miles this car is in absolutely stunning condition. The exterior is near perfect after just receiving a $11,000 paint job. This 911 is accident free but it did have some garage rash. Instead of painting a few panels, I decided she was worthy of a complete. We stripped the exterior bare and painted the complete car, minus the jambs. The interior is in remarkable condition. The linen carpets show very well and the upgraded leather seats are fantastic. Over the years the original tapedeck was replaced with a 996 CD player. The steering wheel will take some elbow grease, but will come clean. The sunroof trim is currently off the car and I will try to install prior to auction end. Mechanically this car is fantastic. in the last twenty thousand miles it has been treated to a host of mechanical repairs.Plugs, Cap, Rotor, Fuel and Air filters, Axles, Heater box, 930 Tie Rod Ends, Brake lines, spring centered clutch, pressure plate, Throw out bearing, flywheel, improved clutch release fork to name just a few. The AC has been removed at some point in the cars life. I have a few small parts on order that will arrive prior to the auction expiration. The rear bumper mouldings and rear window moulding should arrive by Monday. They will be installed immediately. I love NO RESERVE auctions for the fun of it. But many of my auctions end early. I always consider reasonable offers. The key word there is reasonable. Bid with confidence. Here are a few of my other Porsche sales: http://bringatrailer.com/2013/09/26/former-road-track-featured-1980-ruf-930-cabriolet/ http://germancarsforsaleblog.com/1987-porsche-911-carrera-no-reserve/ http://bringatrailer.com/2010/07/13/mud-in-yer-eye-1980-porsche-953-rally-tribute/ Another interesting Porsche I will be selling in the near future is a 1968 COA, 911 monster build. Over $70,000 in parts receipts alone with one of the nicest paint jobs you will ever see. These photos are a year or so old, motor and trans are in the car and most of the wiring is installed. Every nut and bolt is new.https://www.dropbox.com/sh/637rgo9qt2ecovq/AAAwfW72j_isDOsrPN7X1MpEa?dl=0#f:IMG_9722.jpg Please make sure you have the funds available to complete this transaction. I can store the car for a month or so and am willing to assist in transportation.
