You are bidding on a 1985 Mercedes Benz 380SL in excellent condition. My Reserve was just dropped one last time! This car was owned in Naples Florida and had original maintenance records from that owner up to 23,568 miles. The owner passed away and the vehicle was stored in the basement until purchased by the second owner and transported to upstate New York, when I purchased in in 2013. I only purchased it because it was in such excellent original solid condition with very low miles. It is all original and has all its original tags and stickers still intact and many original books and records. It has the original optional First Aid Kit mounted in the truck, original spare tire untouched and tool pouch with tools. The only wear on this vehicle are the paint gel coat has hairline scratches through it, likely from sitting, three surface rust spots on the hood, one small rust hole in the front passenger rocker(minimal spot about 3-4 inches long), where the molding mounts. Undercarriage all original still looks like new, no dents, scrapes or rust, even exhaust system looks great. This is an excellent original car and worth the minimal cost to restore to new again. There is a Hard Top and a brand new OEM canvas soft top, no tears in upholstery. The top dash has two small cracks from shrinkage, these can be replaced. All New Mercedes Parts include the tires, complete brakes with rotors, shoes, anti-brake sensors and calipers. New OEM shocks front and rear. Mercedes custom chrome rims and originals come with car.
