1977 Chevy C 10 with 305 V8 and manual 3 speed (three on the tree) transmission. Truck was hit on the front bumper by a hit-n-run driver while parked in front of the house. Truck should be considered for parts only. I drove it once a week to the dump and for running around town on errands, with the occasional road trip to NJ (about 175 miles each way) without any problems. The Truck does drive but, I wouldn't recommend going over 25mph or for very far. Towing/hauling is the way to go. After the the truck was hit I had to remove the radiator fan plastic shield and replace the water pump and rotated the upper radiator hose to be able to drive. The water pump is new and some other parts are newer such as the heater core, brake master cylinder, and a few other parts. The tires, brakes, lights, etc. are in O.K. condition (truck still has current state inspection). As maybe seen in the pictures the cab and bed are crooked, the right fender is bowed, and I believe that the cross member in front, under the engine got tweaked causing the water pump fan blade to hit the upper radiator hose and plastic housing. The rear part of the axle is from a 1974 C10 and will cause a vibration when driven. The truck has lots of rust on it; the rocker panels, bed, doors, and cab. I'm hoping that someone will find use of my old truck for parts or a project. I'm not really looking to make much on it, mostly hoping that she'll live on as a parts vehicle (I'm going to miss her).
