Up for bid is a mostly original 1974 Honda CT70 K3 ( Honda Trail 70). This is an incredibly nice 571 mile bike that I picked up as a non running project. This bike spent it's entire life until recently in Arizona. It was always stored inside and was preserved very well. The desert heat did cause some dry rot issues for the cables, seat cover & fork rubbers. The original key was lost & ignition switch was damaged so I installed a brand new Honda NOS ignition with keys. I also went through the bike mechanically and it is now running & driving very well after 30+ years of hibernation. The following items as new: seat cover, ignition switch, battery, battery cover, fuel lines, fuel vent line, air filter element, , throttle cable, front brake cable, rear brake cable & handle bar wire looms. The bike starts easily & runs very well. It shifts fine through all 3 gears. It is ready to ride. All lights, turn signals and gauges work as intended. The frame paint is original and in good shape. There are some blemishes as expected for a 41 year old bike. All chrome is in awesome shape. The decals do show some ageing as expected. The original tires are also in very good shape. They do show some slight weather checking. Front and rear rims were painted as well as the foot peg set. All other paint is original. All in all......,this is a very nice mostly original bike that can be enjoyed by someone for many years to come. Feel free to contact me for more details. Note: I do not have a title.
