Vehicle Detail

Please call Ed with any questions - (716) 969-0499.  The car is located in East Amherst, NY 14051 (a suburb of Buffalo, NY). This is one of the nicest G50 Targa’s in existence, period!  It’s had the same meticulous owner for 27 years, when it was sold at Jim Kelly Porsche in Buffalo, NY on March 30, 1988.   The original owner originally leased the vehicle in his company name, and then purchased it individually from Porsche Financial.  The original bill of sale and window sticker are included, as well as both sets of keys, two additional keys for the alarm, and one key for the wheel locks.  A registration from 2015 proves original ownership!  This Targa came well equipped with a few select options:  Reno Radio, Limited slip differential, 16 inch Fuchs alloy wheels, and a factory alarm system.  All original VIN stickers are intact.   Over $30,000 in service records (dating back to the first oil change in ’88) help solidify the fact that this 911 is truly special.  Every single required maintenance item is fully documented and included with the vehicle, as well as any repair work over the years and other routine maintenance (tires, brakes, etc.).  The Targa top, headliner, and seals were replaced in August of 2008 from a prominent Targa specialist in New Jersey. More recently, in spring 2014, the car received a host of preventative maintenance, including a new starter, fuel lines, air & fuel filters, plugs, wires/cap, wheel bearings, brake pads and rotors, and several misc. seals and gaskets.  This was completed at a cost of nearly $4,000.  A recent inspection last week replaced the battery, and nothing else.  This Targa requires absolutely nothing; there are no surprises here.  Mechanically, the car is 100% sound.  The engine, transmission, and drive train function exactly as they should. There is no smoke at start-up and the oil pressure is excellent (see pictures).  In 1991, a Porsche specialist in West Carrollton, Ohio outfitted the Targa with a cat bypass exhaust and a second exhaust pipe.  The car sounds amazing but isn’t loud or obnoxious.  This has been the only modification to the vehicle, ever, except for the Alpine stereo.  The tail was installed by the dealer at time of purchase, it is the 911 Turbo version, Porsche OEM. The paint is nearly flawless and it has an unbelievable shine for a nearly 30 year-old car.  It is completely original - there is no evidence of any paintwork.  Every body panel is original as well and the vehicle has never been in an accident.  The car has always been garaged and taken extremely good care of.  The car is exceptionally straight; pictures really can’t do it justice.  The interior is extremely clean, and all original. The leather has no cracks or markings whatsoever.  The carpeting and floor mats are excellent.  The dash is perfect with no cracking or fading at all.  All HVAC operations function perfectly.  The A/C blows cold. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a one owner G50 911 with extremely low mileage and 27 years of fully documented service history. Please call Ed @ 716-969-0499 for more information or to end the auction early.
