2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Rust Free Duramax Diesel Allison Automatic Transmission. Crew Cab 8'Bed Cold A/C DOT Inspected & Everything Works! Shiny Red Paint and Leather Interior! 80% Tires and Alloy Wheels I will start by saying that the reason we are selling this truck is that we have bought all new ones and are just upgrading our fleet. We sell farm tires for a living, and travel to trade shows throughout the mid west's upper 15 states. We pull an enclosed trailer to the shows that we exhibit at, and keep our fleet very clean, with a strict maintenance program in place. All of our miles are on the highway, and our vehicles are always stored inside of our building at night when back home. We know of no major issues on this truck, and are sure that you will be impressed with the condition when you see it. The matching numbers Duramax Diesel engine runs smooth, does not smoke, and has plenty of power. The Allison automatic transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears! This truck has never left us sit. The odometer shows 254K miles, and are all highway, so there are lots of miles of dependable service left. All of the suspension parts are tight, and in alignment. Since the vehicle is over 10 years of age, the mileage is listed as exempt. This has electric windows, locks, seat and mirrors. The mirrors are extendable for use with trailers. The glass is good. The leather seats and whole interior is in great condition. There is some wear, but very respectable. There is 1 small snag on the passenger rear seat that could use repair, but doesn't have to either. The dash has no cracks. The truck has never been in a wreck, but there is an airbag light on that we have never checked on. There is also a light on the dash that flashes "low coolant" and then "windshield wash low", but we have had it checked and the coolant has never been low, and the w/s wash has never been low either, so there is some type of glitch that we wanted to let you know about. The carpet is like new. The sound system is great. The cruise control works. The A/C blows cold air. The 4X4 works perfect, although we have not had much need to use it since we are always on the highway when we use the truck. There is a 5th wheel hitch that you can flip over and not have it exposed in the bed. The hitch is nicely centered so the truck sits level when you have a load on. There is also a receiver hitch if you want to tow a bumper hitch trailer. Their is a trailer brake switch so if you are towing a trailer, you can set the amount of pressure you want to apply when braking. The brake shoes are good. Since we tow across state lines, we need to have the truck DOT inspected, and that inspection is current. The 8' long box is in great shape and we have always had a bed liner in it, so it is not beat up in any way. The bright red paint shines very well with very little clear coat peel. There are a few small dents, but nothing that needs to be repaired. There is absolutely no rust anywhere! The factory alloy rims look great. The LT265/75R16 10ply tires are 80% tread and run smoothly down the road. The value on this truck hold up very well since new trucks with these options are approaching $60,000!
