You are bidding on a well cared for second owner 2001 GMC Savana 3500 15' Box Truck. I purchased this truck right off the Penske lot in May 2005, and have been the only owner for the last 10 1/2 years and low 42k miles driven during that time. Considerable money and work has gone into keeping this truck in excellent running condition, despite it's age, and it has always passed Massachusetts annual inspections flawlessly. Currently stickered through Sept 2016 and plate valid through 12/31/2015. Note the truck's actual dry weight is around 7,400 and I kept it registered as 8,000 - vehicles under 10k GVW are much more cost effective to register and insure in MA and not many trucks this size are that light these days. Full service records/history are included; 90% of all work was done by Marty's GMC of Kingston MA. Oil and fluids changed every six months; in 2015 alone, the rear end, fuel pump, and alternator have been replaced. Full tune-up and stabilizer bars in 2014 (only 3k miles ago). Brakes/Tires/Belts/Hoses all in recent years; too much to list! The truck only ever saw light to medium duty hauling band and musical gear throughout New England. Obviously with an average of only 4,000 miles a year, it has been treated well. The ramp works great, the door seals and locks just fine (high quality lock and keys included). Has never been damaged or wrecked in any way. Both bucket seats are in good shape, no rips or tears, AM/FM radio works fine as do all gauges and lights. Includes required safety items (wheel chocks, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, etc.) Unfortunately, the winter of 2015 took its toll and portions of the roof caved in due to snow weight, so the box itself is no longer waterproof on a couple of corners. Still would be great as-is for day-use only tasks, perhaps a landscaping or delivery company. Located near IKEA in Avon/Stoughton MA and can be viewed/driven during weekday business hours by appointment (approximately 11am-5pm M-F). Following payment, seller can provide out of state buyers a ride from either Boston Logan or Providence TF Green airports. Asking $4k or best offer based on ~$5k market value less the roof issues. Well over $10k invested during the last decade!
