Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my gorgeous Pearl White Cadillac STS. This car has been a wonderful and reliable vehicle for the entire time that I have owned it. We purchased it as a 1-owner vehicle and I drove it as a company car, afterwards I purchased it from the company and have used it since. It runs great and the Northstar V8 has never had any issues. The front struts were recently changed out to passive struts and new strut bearings. This has caused a light on the dashboard to appear, "service traction", "service suspension". There is also an occasional clunk from the new strut bearing, which apparently is somewhat normal when you replace the strut bearings. I have tried to build the resistor circuit needed to make the error message go away, but unfortunately with winter coming - I need the driveway space and just don't have the time to deal with the message anymore! This does not affect the drivability at all, and I will include the resistors for the new owner to make the message go away. Other than that, the door check straps all squeak a little bit (I've replaced them all, and don't want to mess with it again). I wanted to be totally honest and up front, this car has those couple of issues (which don't affect drivability!) but otherwise it's a very sharp car! It has a couple tiny bubbles starting to appear by the rear fenders, and a small dent in the bumper where i backed into a post. It has far below average interior wear, as I tried to keep it as pristine as possible. There was a tie rod end that needed to be replaced a few months back, and I had that done at the local GM dealer. She starts and runs great, the body is in good shape for the age. She drives down the highway smooth and tracks straight. All functions work great, the stereo is awesome. Front and rear heated seats, etc etc etc. If you have any questions, please ask!!! - TimOn Oct-30-15 at 07:16:35 PDT, seller added the following information: -Just had a question about the engine. I have never had any issues with overheating. The coolant was changed every 2 years, and the factory-recommended Bar's Stop-Leak tabs were always added to the coolant. The engine has always ran great and given me no temperature issues.
