Up for sale is my excellent 1984 Toyota HiLux, 2.4L Diesel 4X4. The exact same truck as seen on British Top Gear. 221,380 original miles. VIN JT4LN65D2E5000976 I am the second owner having purchased it from the original owner in 2010. It is rare to find one and rarer still in this condition. The engine has been professionally rebuilt top to bottom at 219,000 miles. This includes a new head direct from Toyota (yes they still support some parts for this truck) It started life as a red truck and was repainted in 2014 in the green configuration shown here. It includes the camper cap for the bed.Power Steering, Power Brakes, air shocks with built in compressor, new stereo, amp, speakers, CB radio.5 Speed Manual Transmission, The original bumpers were replaced by the original owner with these well-built solid steel versions. Diamond plate front bumper box that houses the Warn winch and 2.5” tubular rear bumper and trailer hitch. The truck has the original Florida title but does not have a current Georgia title because Georgia will not produce one for these older vehicles. It is, however, currently registered and tagged in Georgia. Before you bid on this truck make sure you understand what your state requires. I will be glad to help as much as I can. I am selling this for the simple fact that I don’t drive it enough. It is just sitting around and that is never good for a vehicle long term. New Clutch New Master and Slave New hoses New Belts Professionally cleaned Diesel injectors New glow plugs Redone Glow plug circuit. The automatic circuitry in these systems was prone to failure and I redid all of that with an on dash switch tied to a latching relay with timer that holds the glow plug for the correct amount of time. the truck starts in cold weather every time. new water pump and fan blade New brakes and rotors Rebuilt the Warn winch circuit with new relays New horn circuit with Hi/Lo horns. (they definitely will know you are there) New windshield and back glass (I eliminated the pass through window but still have the original if you want to put it back in) Bench seat has been professionally reupholstered New carpet New headlights
