This auction is for a clean and very mechanically sound 1999 Ford Explorer XL 4-Door SUV. It has only 53,500 original miles on it. I purchased this vehicle from a state government where it was used by a supervisor for parking services, hence the low miles on the car. I had it re-titled in the state of West Virginia, where I live. I got this vehicle for my wife to drive on especially bad winter days when we have snow, as her regular car is RWD and just does not go where she needs to get sometimes- but she has decided to get a new car that is going to be 4WD and thus I no longer have any use for this car. I had 4 new shocks installed, as well as a new thermostat, and had the oil changed- all in the last 100 miles (have receipts for all of that). Mechanically this car works 100% and has no issues. The interior is nice, with the exception of some paint stains in the cargo area and the driver's leather seat is coming apart at the seams (although I plan on getting a seat cover in the next bit for it). The exterior is in very nice shape, there are a few very small dings and a few blemishes, but as the pictures show they are not at all noticeable. The driver's side rear corner trim is missing, but I have already ordered a Ford OEM replacement and it will be installed prior to the sale. I will try and get a picture up once that is done in the next few days. There is little to no rust on the undercarriage and the frame is structurally 100%. This vehicle originally came from the Washington D.C. area.This is a nice solid car that would make an excellent daily driver and has a lot of miles left in it. I have bought and sold here on eBay for the last 16 plus years, so bid with confidence. There is the possibility of delivery on the East coast or in the Southeast as I travel for business there very regularly. I occasionally use this car for errands, so the mileage may be a couple of of hundred more than at time of listing this auction.Thanks for looking!
