Up for auction is this awesome farm fresh 1946 Chevy panel delivery short wheel base 1/2 ton model. I found this panel on a farm with no chassis under the body so in the pics it looks funny because it's sitting on a long bed 1946 truck chassis for transport. The panel is super solid with awesome old advertising on the sides from the early 50's. The panel has no real rot only surface rust and has the "patina" look everyone is looking for. The panel had been sitting for at least 40 years and at some point had the engine and trans taken out and the front clip and driver door damaged. The driver door will be good for patch panels for another door. I've found a couple here on this site for sale. The rear doors are solid but at some point someone decided to just rip the hinges out of the doors so the doors will need repair around where the hinges mount. The inside of the panel is really straight and even has the original wood floor! Both stock seats are in it and I will also include a nicer complete front clip to go with it. This a really cool project that would look awesome dropped on the ground with a clear coat paint job or fully restored!
