Thank you for looking at our 1976 Chevy Vega Hatchback.The 48,000 miles are actual, and the title is clean. This is really a rare find because it's an all original, un-molested 40 year old classic car that's still in beautiful condition inside and out. Do you remember 30 years ago when these cars were everywhere? I don't know what happened, but they're all gone, and if you like Vegas, I think this Vega is a very nice one. The interior is no different from when the car was new. It's still very nice. The body on it is in fantastic shape for being 40 years old. Mechanically, it runs excellent but it will need a fuel pump in the future according to my mechanic. If you check at O'Reilly Auto they're very inexpensive. The brakes are good, it steers straight, the transmission is a 3 speed automatic and shifts correctly, and the exhaust is very quiet. If you can sneak in and take it for a test drive or have it professionally inspected, then you'll know how nice this car really is. I also would like to mention that the radio does not work. It could just be a fuse, but the cigarette lighter works, and I don't think it was ever used. There's not a mark on the interior. This car was driven 30,000 miles during the first 10 years of its life, and the last 30 years of its life it was only driven 15,000. The original mats are in the hatch, and we have some extra parts that come with the car. This is a really cool small car that's economical and a lot of fun to drive. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle, along with a $15 title fee. By Ohio law, we must transfer this title into your name. The reason being is that if we would just send you the title and it was to get lost, there would be a problem. Or if we would send you the title and you didn't transfer it for several years and it got lost, it would be an even bigger problem.
