Selling my ultra clean 1988 Suzuki Samurai JX Convertible with only 40k original miles. This is one of the cleanest Samurais for sale. It is fully documented from new. I have the original sales contract, window sticker, brochure, every service record, owners manual, original keys, original bikini top, tool kit and more... It was purchased new at San Francisco Suzuki in 1988. It was purchased for MSRP, accessories plus tax and fees. These cars were very popular at the time because of the versatility and fuel economy. The city mpg is 28 and highway 29. Not bad for a jeep :) This is the first time this car has been for sale on Ebay. This is a two owner Samurai. It was owned by a Grandma in San Rafael that used the car sparingly as their tow vehicle when traveling with their RV. She paid cash for the car in 1988 and had the car outfitted with a "stow away" tow bar for easy convenient towing on the spot. Also, she really wanted factory air conditioning so she paid to have the dealer install AC, wind deflectors and a trailer hitch. The car comes with both factory tops- the full soft top with windows and bikini factory Samurai top with blue and white stripes. The car is in perfect condition overall. It has been meticulously maintained by her local mechanic since new. I have a full stack of service receipts from the dealer and independent service shop. This is a rare sighting these days to have full documentation on a used car. Its very refreshing knowing this Samurai was kept up. The body and frame are excellent with no rust or corrosion issues. The interior is all stock and seats are perfect condition. Tires are still very new. Stock wheels are in perfect condition.
