This 2000 4X4 Ford Excursion Limited has been pampered and exceptionally cared for. I bought this SUV in 2009 from my best friend in Texas because I knew how meticulously well he cared for this vehicle. I strive to provide the same quality of care to this truck as he did. Authorized Ford dealers have been the primary service providers for this truck - servicing the truck an estimated 97% of the time. No mechanical needs were ever left unaddressed. Rather, no expense has ever been spared to ensure this truck was operating in tip top condition. I still have the vast majority of all the service records for this truck - dating back to when it was purchased - on file. Mechanically, it is in IMPECCABLE condition. It has never been a truck to drip oil or other fluids on my driveway or in my garage - none whatsoever. The engine runs as good as I expect it ever has - Superb! Mileage on the vehicle is 201,737. This truck received a dealer installed new 6.8L V10 engine at 82K miles, however, so the current engine only has 119,737 miles on it. Cosmetically, it is in VERY GOOD condition. Interior: The only note worthy evidence of wear on any of the leather seating is on the driver's seat - it does have wear on it which includes a split in the leather in which the foam underneath is visible. The leather on all of the other seats is in near perfect condition - hardly any signs of wear whatsoever. A few small chips in paint consistent with any used vehicle.A small portion of the paint on the edge of the driver door was chipped at some point and has some surface rust. Trust me when I tell you that it is TIGHT and LOOKS and RUNS GREAT!!I've always used this truck as a weekend driver. I'm selling it because I bought a new 4X4 Expedition which I will now use as my everyday vehicle. Since it has 4WD, I simply do not have a need for two 4WD vehicles. Also, you may notice the trailer hitch on the back. The original owner never hauled anything and the only thing I pull is a very small luggage trailer on the rare occasion that I'm traveling for vacation with my family of six. I've included a picture of the trailer mentioned attached to the truck during a family vacation in 2013.
