NO RESERVE!!! THIS CAR WILL SELL!!! Relisting due to dead beat winner not paying for the car. Ifyou cannot afford the car or don't intend to pay DO NOT BID ON IT! Up for auction is a real 2000 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk VIN# 2g2fv22g6y2145091 and build #0457 I came across this car about 6 weeks ago. I have a collection of cars and sold one to a gentleman that owned this car. He traded me the Firehawk and money to purchase the vehicle he bought from me. Since I'm into pre 1972 cars and trucks this car is selling for no reserve! The car needs some work that I will list below but overall it's anice car for age / mileage. 2000 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk VIN# 2g2fv22g6y2145091 and build #0457 It has all the SLP goodies and it's 100% stock. From my inspection of the car when I tookit in trade I will be 100% transparent about what I saw and found while havingthe car in my garage over the last few weeks.I drove the car about 1 mile when I got it and here is what I know. Motor and TransMotor has good power and the trans and clutch work fine. You will see some surface rust onthe driver wheel well in the engine bay (see pics)There is no whine in the rear end. There is an exhaust leak but I don't think it's coming from the manifolds. The powersteering pump needs to be replaced. It leaks.Car stopped fine and didn't make any weird noises when going over bumps. ExteriorIf I was to keep this car I would paint it. The paint has been touched up in some areas (I'm including a brand new Firehawk decal kit) and it looks good at 20 feet as they say. The good news is the body panels are extremely clean and all the gaps are very good. The hood (unlike most of these cars) isin nice shape and not chipped up or cracked. The rearbumper has a small crack (see pic) and some paintchips (see pics). The hatch looks good and the front bumper is solid but the paint is dull and chipped in some areas It looks like it has never been in an accident it just has tired paint with some scratches here and there. If you just wanted to cruise and enjoy the car you could skip paint but if you want to show it will need paint. I'm picky so like I saidI'd spend a few bucks and have it painted. All the lights work and the headlights go up and down with no issues. InteriorThe interior is in overall good shape. The driver seat looks like it was redone at one time. The other seats look good for age. The top of the rear seats is a little sun dried but notcracked. Everything is where it should be.One of the air vents is missing a couple slats (see pic). The radio - wipers - heat - drivers seat - gauges - work. The door lock (I think on drivers side only) don't work but you can manually lock and unlock the doors. The T-tops are in good shape (no idea if they leak since I have the car garaged) and the carpet and headliner look mint. The shifter (SLP Hurst H) and boot could use a swap if you are picky. The AC will need a recharge. Didn't test the rear defrost since it's been warm out. The tires are OK but if I kept the car I would get new ones. The wheels have the typically flaking. The locking lugs and locking lug key are there. Missing 2 out of the 4 center caps. You can buy them on ebay :) Included with the sale is the original owners manualwindow sticker - SLP birth certificate - clean title For having 176K miles it's in overall good shape. If youare looking for a 20K dollar never been driven / neverseen a raindrop Firehawk this one isn't it. If you alwayswanted a Firehawk but couldn't afford one and are willing to do some work to make it your own this is youropportunity! Terms and Conditions and all that jazz...Deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction end to winningbidder. Full payment within 7 days required or initial deposit is forfeited. If you are not local and want to hirea shipper we can have the car ready / assist the shipper when car is paid for. Car is soldas is no warranties expressed or implied. If you bid and win and don't pay you will be reported to Ebay. Anyone with a ten or less feedback email me before you bid orI will delete it. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the rightto end auction early. Good luck bidding!!!
