For sale is my black on black 2010 Nissan GTR. This vehicle has 29,xxx miles on it. The vehicle has a transmission fault. The valve body in the transmission has been replaced already except Nissan dealer reports that the transmission is not able to complete position learning and that the first gear fork is damaged. Rebuilders are able to correct this, Jacks Transmissions, and ShepTrans are two that come to mind but please do additional research. Nissan is willing to replace the gearbox as well, but not perform a repair/rebuild. Recommendation is to put a stronger box in, which will be cheaper than getting Nissan to replace it. I'm selling it AS-IS as I have decided to go another route and have no more interest in repairing this car. The car has never been tracked! This car was used for a daily commuter in traffic. The GTR is ex-US, and came from Metro Nissan of Montclair, CA. Currently fully registered in the Province of British Columbia. Its very well equipped and has a few additional extra's, the wheels are updated, painted Amuse front lip, and T1R rear exhaust with Ti tips. The exhaust adds a bit of growl and is not idiotically loud. Original exhaust will be included. GTR was involved in a small rear end accident where the bumper cover was damaged, photos are available of this incident. The vehicle is located in North Vancouver, BC and will need to be transported to its new home. I will assist in setting up transportation but the costs are up to the buyer.Within 48 hours of winning the auction, I will require $1000 deposit to hold the car. Remaining amount will be due in 7 days. No exceptions to this. Only accepted forms of payment is a wire transfer, or certified cheque. Car does not leave my custody until payment is verified. On Sep-22-15 at 16:13:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Lots and lots of inquiries on this car. The reserve is priced very low to ensure a sale. The car DOES run, and the engine is fine. The transmission simply wont engage any gears other than second and is currently in limp home mode. The car did engage forth once while in limp and started to drive normally again, it went back to limp mode after coming to a stop. However again, you will not be able to drive the car home.
