Up for auction( AT A VERY LOW RESERVE) is a 1967 Ford F100 Short Wheel Base pickup with the Custom Cab option. This truck was purchased from the original owners daughter after the owner passed away. It still has the original Arkansas title. The truck has been used for work as it was intended back then. It has bumps and bruises here and there and does have rust in the usual areas. The floor pans have some small amounts of rust and have been "patched" in the past. The bottoms of the doors show some rust also. If you have dealt with many of these trucks you will know there will be other areas that would need metal repair if you wanted to do a full restoration. The engine is a 352 FE V8 engine with 2bbl carb and automatic transmission. The transmission seems to shift fine. The engine does have a miss. The truck had been sitting for several years before I purchased it. The truck WILL run and drive down the road but I would figure on an engine rebuild in the future. Even though the truck will run and drive, do not plan on driving it home. The tires are old and dry rotted and I do not know enough about the condition of the drive train. I have put 5/10 miles on it but that is about all. The brake wheel cylinders and shoes have been replaced and the brakes work. These trucks are getting harder and harder to find in any condition at all. This truck has been repainted(very poor paint job) and has just the right amount of character and patina to drive like it is or someone could always do a full restoration and make a show piece.
