This is a fully restored 1965 Pontiac Catalina CONVERTIBLE and it is beautiful.  It has had the same owner for 45 years!!  After enjoying the car since 1970, it was restored in 2010 and only driven a few hundred test miles since the restoration.  The owner's health declined after the restoration and the car was only driven a couple times over the past 5 years.  The interior and exterior were restored and the original 389 engine and automatic transmission were rebuilt along with all the other mechanical systems.  The car is well equipped with power steering, power brakes, power convertible top and tilt steering wheel. Everything is basically brand new from top to bottom and front to back.  The Red and White interior is simply stunning with excellent craftsmanship.  Everything looks brand new inside and out as it should.  The power convertible top works good and has only been put down a time or two.  No wrinkles and lumps.  The parade boot is also new.  All of the gauges and options work as designed.  Even the original radio sounds clear and strong.  All of the glass is in great shape, the doors easily close nice and straight.  All of the weatherstrip was replaced when the car was painted. The original paint was stripped off the car and resprayed with base coat/clear coat in bright Red paint has a wonderful depth and has no defects.  The panel gaps are nice, the chrome is fresh and shiny.  There was minimal bodywork needed prior to paint, mostly door dings and scratches.  There were no rust issues to deal with.  The original spare tire as well as the original jack are still in the trunk.  The underside is solid with no issues.  The white wall tires are brand new.  All of the lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, etc work as designed.  The 78,000 miles are correct but not guaranteed due to the age.
