You are bidding on a true low mileage survivor. This car is a 100% southern car… zero rust. I bought this car on eBay from an estate sale 8 years ago for $4,000. The car had been stored for nearly 18 years. After purchase and new gasoline, new battery, and an oil change, I drove the car from Birmingham AL, home to Atlanta GA without incident. After I fully inspected the car, the rehabilitation started. I spent over $8,000 having the engine seals, gaskets, bushings, and new brakes installed by Harrison Motor Sports. I then spent $3,000 having the car painted due to the poor storage by the estate. The final update to make the car a true daily driver was to have the seats rebuilt and new leather installed at the cost of $3,300. Over the years I have had the AC / heater system completely repaired and updated. I got tired of the metric tires and bought new wheels and tires (this was a great improvement), updated the radio (to a single din unit where the screen pops out to provide the navigation, Bluetooth, XM radio systems), and changed the rear deck panel to a 1986 unit that was not crumbling and had the rear speaker capability, and put European Hella headlights. Presently, the car has been a reliable daily driver for my 20 year old daughter. The windows, sunroof, and all other systems work correctly and reliably. This car is a great daily driver and gets compliments and thumbs up where ever it’s driven. The car is a regular participant in the Vintage at the Vineyard rally in North Carolina. This car is a daily driver, not a show car. Even with the new paint, there are imperfections in the paint due to use, there is a single 1inch diameter tree sap stain on the hood. I still have the European and original tires and wheels if desired. In total, you can buy this car and drive it home with total confidence.
