1966 Ford Mustang A Code GT Coupe. 289 V8 engine with 4 bbl carburetor. C-4 Auto Transmission. GT group components including Dual Exhaust, HD suspension, Power Brakes (see note), Power Steering, and GT ornamentation. Was told the miles on the odometer when purchased (approx. 63,000) were original miles but cannot be verified. Body in great shape – only very minor scratches and dents. Very solid with no visible rust anywhere. Engine and transmission run good. Good driver quality with some minor issues that should be addressed to fully restore (see below). Negatives: Will need some front end work but was recently aligned and was told that only the upper control arm bushings needed to be replaced. Some power steering fluid leakage. Appears to have had front disc brakes originally but now has drums. Recently replaced original Autolite 4100 4 BBL carburetor with replacement one but have saved the original carb for new owner. Other issues – fuel gage, temperature gage, radio, heater fan controls – linkage, some interior components will need addressed – dashed warped, panels need sprucing up, etc. I am not desperate and plan to address all the issues and keep or sell for more money but will accept reasonable offers as I could use the space.
