Up for bid is a mostly original 1979 Honda CT70 (Trail 70). This is a nice 2135 mile bike that I picked up as a non running winter project. I went through the bike and it is now running & driving very well. I have replaced the following items as new: battery, headlight, tail light bulb, fuel lines, air filter element & battery cover. The fuel tank and carburetor have also been thoroughly cleaned. The bike starts easily & runs very well. It shifts fine through all 3 gears. The bike sometimes requires a few extra kicks to start because the clutch has some slip. The clutch pack may need to be replaced at some point to remedy this issue. The rear tire has slow leak and will go flat over time. There are no other issues that I am aware of. It is ready to ride. This will be a great bike to ride as is or restore it at a later date. All lights and gauges works as intended. The turn signals have been removed at some point. The frame paint is original and in good shape. There are some blemishes as expected for a 36 year old bike. The original tires are in pretty good shape. They do show some wear and slight weather checking. All in all this is a very respectable bike. Feel free to contact me for more details.
