Vehicle Detail
1968 Mustang... title in hand. Original 289/C4 car. Set up for manual transmission. Has 373 rear w/ locker. New quarters, fenders, deck lid, floor pans, fuel tank, new brakes all the way around, new partial brake and fuel lines. Good glass (with the exception of the windshield which is cracked). Windows roll up and down. Headliner in great shape. Seats in good condition. Doors open, close, and latch good, trunk opens/closes good, hood has pins and is not bolted to the hinges, so I dont know how well the hood opens/closes. Very little rust ANYWHERE on this car. Very solid and straight car... its a rock. Was set up for racing but has been converted back to street. All sheet metal has already been welded in. Feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures. I'll be glad to send any pics you want. Ebay limits me to only 24 pictures so I couldnt post a lot. Hood hinges are there but not bolted to hood so I am unsure of their working condition. They look in good shape though. No latch in front because it used to be a race car and uses hood pins. Because it used to be a race car there is no heater box or almost anything under the dash. Wipers are there as are the connecting arms under the dash, but no motor. No bumpers. Door skins are not new and have surface rust and body filler, but are in good, repairable condition. All seats are there and are in good shape, and it has a partial carpet, but that will need replacing. Headliner is there and in decent shape. Car rolls and steers fine. This car is ready to be finished, I am only selling because I wanted a car to build and I like the old Mustangs, but I am a Chevy guy at heart and my heart just wouldnt be in this, so its up for sale. This is a really great and solid car to build (why I bought it) but I need to see a bow-tie in my driveway. I dont need a deposit, just bring cash (only) with you when you pick it up. Might consider partial trade plus boot. I might even deliver it within a reasonable distance for a fee.
