1985 Chevrolet M1008 5/4 ton CUCV 58,962 miles at the time of the pictures. WIll be higher by auction end. -6.2L J series diesel engine., runs very well - New oil and filter - New air filter - New fuel filter -New belts - New radiator hoses and heater hoses - New Anti-Freeze -A/C Delco 60G Glow plugs. Still on factory system -TH400 3 speed automatic, shifts through all gears fine, no slipping, New fluid and filter -NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. Shifts through all ranges fine. no leaks - New fluid - New rear out put shaft seal -Dana 60 front axle. -4.56 gears-all tie rods are nice and tight as are the wheel bearings- drive shaft and axle shaft u-joints in good shape -Warn Style 3/4 turn lock outs -Corporate 14 bolt rear axle, -4.56 Detroit locker -New gear lube -New wheel seals Rear drive shaft u-joints are good as well. -Emergency brakes work -Service brakes work great -New rear shoes and 70%+ on front pads. - 4 New Monroe heavy duty gas shocks -Tires are NEW Cooper Mastercraft Courser MXT 285/75R16 (33x11.50) Load range E mounted on New Ion Alloy 16x8 wheels. Does have a spare on a factory rim. IT is not a matching tire , but has lots of tread left. The truck is still on the factory 24V/12V hybrid set up. -Alternators charge fine -2 new batteries- Heavy Duty group 31 -All service lights work as the should -left rear blackout marker light is inop, the other three work fine Grille mounted blackout drive light is missing. I can include one if the buyer wants one -All gauges and dummy lights work. - All glass is in good condition. Front windshield has been replaced with one that has the top shaded. - Both door windows roll up and down nice and smooth . -The doors open and close nicely as well. -Wiper motor works on both speeds, washer pump does not currently. New one is on order -Blower motor works fine on all speeds. Heat only ...NO A/C. The CUCV's never had A/C. I can install it though. -Horn works -The dash pad is in great shape. -Seat is in great condition -There are a few dings. See pics. -There are 5 holes that have been filled with silicone in the roof.- There is rust starting in the cab corners. -The frame and under carriage are very clean. -The truck was rust proofed by the military. Most is still intact. The inner fender coating has peeled and the rear inner fenders have several rock chips in the coating There are a few spots on the frame that has peeled as well.
