Have to sell my 1971 4 door Ford Thunderbird. Rarest option on these was with sunroof probably on 100-200 like this ever made. Great gangster or mob ride. Only about 5000 made. 429 engine size 360 Horsepower. Last make and model of the classic suicide doors. I am moving to florida and the car is to expensive to ship and store. I have done a lot of work on this car. Definitely a restore project. The car has a complete rebuilt transmission with 1 year or 12000 mile warranty from L&L transmissions. Recored radiator no leaks. All freeze plugs have been replaced, new water pump, battery, brakes parts are all new but are still a little soft. New master cylinder. Fuel system completely redone. Dropped the gas tank it is lined with new fuel hoses and fuel pump. Has a brand new carburetor but unfortunately did not set it right and now is flooded. Car was running great but new carburetor needs to be cleaned or rebuilt. new spark plugs that are probably fouled now. Car needs paint, new landau top. Has the rarest options which was the sunroof. Sunroof is not working. Headliner is in great shape. Needs new window motors for electric windows. Interior is in great shape only a tear on driver side. Need to replace timing cover behind the water pump which I have. Original hubcaps are polished and look great. Brand new Hankook Optimo tires with original 1 inch white walls.
