Well this is that car. This is one of the nicest used older Mercedes I have ever seen in my 15 years in the used car business. This car literally looks and feels almost brand new. It has obviously been garage kept and superbly maintained. It has extremely low mileage for the year. The paint shines beautifully, the leather seats don't have so much as a scratch in them. The embroidered floor mats have no stains or wear and look absolutely brand new. The only indication this is a used car is there are a few tiny spots where the red interior paint has started to wear revealing the black underneath. It starts right up on the first try, and runs and drives perfectly. It tracks perfectly straight with no vibrations or noises. The air conditioning is ice cold. It is so nice we even park it in the garage here at our shop at night! This little car is finished in a very rare yet awesome color combination - Black exterior with a two tone Red and black interior that everyone awes at. To complete the package all of the trim is in special order factory carbon fiber. The overall presence is stunning, and this car turns heads wherever it goes. It features a 2.3 liter 4cylinder supercharged engine mated to an automatic transmission. This car gets up and goes! Yet when you are just cruising it sips gas like a typical 4cyl car. The hardtop convertible works with no issues. There are no check engine lights or error codes. The car does not leak any fluids. Everything works as Mercedes Benz intended. The beauty of these hardtop convertibles is that they are practical year round cars - with the top up you have a quiet and weatherproof car with a glass rear window complete with electric defrost. But hit the switch and in seconds watch the top fold into the trunk and you now have a sleek and sexy roadster that's ready for fun in the sun! This car came completely loaded from the factory. Power everything - mirrors, locks, windows, seats. It also has heated seats for those cool mornings. The car features the factory AM/FM/Cassette deck in the dash with a 6CD changer in the trunk. The original owner even included a 2nd 6 disc CD magazine brand new in the original box. The original owner even purchased the Mercedes Benz center console mounted cellular phone! - That was over a $1000 option at the time. The Alloy wheels are in great shape and the car rides on a matched set of Michelin tires with 90% tread left. The factory windscreen is installed and there is a 2nd one in the trunk. All the original books and manuals are present and the original owner even provided us with all 3 keys - two key fobs with keyless remote and the original valet key. Both remote flip keys work perfectly. I tend to underestimate cars but this car is just that nice. The original owner even had brake dust shields installed to protect and keep the front alloy wheels clean. No detail was over overlooked nor expense spared keeping this car in the pristine shape that it is in today. This car represents an extraordinary value in the used sports car market. Any inspections must take place on site at our facility, and be concluded before the end of the auction. NJ residents MUST pay 7% sales tax in addition to the winning price of the bid. No exceptions. Out of state residents must pay their own taxes when they go to register the car in their local municipality. All purchasers (including dealers) must pay a $150 documentation fee which covers the cost of overnight mail and title transfer. Temporary vehicle tags are available to both in state and out of state residents, they cost $25. Non-resident temp tags are valid for 20 days from the date of issuance. Resident temp tags are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. All cars are sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. All retail customers will be obligated to to sign an as-is where is acknowledgement as part of the purchase paperwork.
