In addition to all of the standard safety & convenience features, it was ordered with the following options: * First year VORTEC 7.4 Liter, 454 V8 fuel injected gas engine, these L29 engines with their 290 hp and 410 lb/ft of torque, (3200 rpm) are highly sought after specifically for their greater dependability, durability, torque and towing capacity over the GM 6.5 diesel offered that year. According to Chevrolet, the L29 engine when mated with a 3:73 rear end, is rated to tow 8000 lbs. Equipped with the 4:10 rear end, the towing capacity increases to 10,000 lbs. Once the listing commenced, I observed that the listing indicated the Suburban was in Colorado Springs, as this is where it was when last listed.
