We are selling a very nice 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe that we took on trade. The car runs and drives as new, has no check engine lights or other mechanical issues. It only has 119k miles. It rides on a nice matched set of Firestone tires with 80% tread left. Starts right up - we just installed a new battery. The interior of this vehicle is in almost showroom condition. The Grey velour seats show no rips, burns or stains. It's almost a time capsule inside. The only sign of wear is a bit of fading on the power window and power lock switches. The car runs, shifts and stops excellent. We sell all our trades as-is where is. We do test drive them and inspect them and give a general assessment of condition and any mechanical issues. This car runs and drives like new, and has an NJ inspection sticker valid until 1/2017. The 3.8 v6 is smooth an powerful and we cruised the car at highway speeds with zero issues A brief inspection has determined the following flaws: Air Conditioning blows warm - may need a recharge or other repair. Paint is oxidized on both front and rear bumpers as well as the rear spoiler. There is a small (size of a golf ball) dent on the rear bumper cover immediately to the right of where the license plate sits. There are minor nicks and scratches although for a 17 year old car it is in well above average condition. Please understand that this is a used vehicle and that they all may have minor flaws or need minor repairs to meet your standards. This car would be make safe and reliable transportation for someone. Now onto the legal stuff: Status Motors of NJ LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured used car dealer in the state of New Jersey. Our retail lot is located at 69 Groveville Road, (corner of Rt 130 and Groveville Road) in Bordentown, NJ. NJ residents MUST pay 7% sales tax in addition to the winning price of the bid. No exceptions. Out of state residents must pay their own taxes when they go to register the car in their local municipality. All purchasers (including dealers) must pay a $150 documentation fee which covers the cost of overnight mail and title transfer. Temporary vehicle tags are available to both in state and out of state residents, they cost $25. Non resident temp tags are valid for 20 days from the date of issuance. Resident temp tags are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. All cars are sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. All retail customers will be obligated to to sign an as-is where is acknowledgement as part of the purchase paperwork. All successful buyers must leave a $500 deposit via paypal immediately upon auction closing or the vehicle will be relisted. The rest of the balance is expected within 5 business days by either certified check, bank wire, or cash in person.
